a sincere apology....

My last post had pictures that were e-mailed to me under the pretense that they were pre-storm pictures of Hurricane Katrina. To set the record straight, they are not. In fact, they belong to storm chaser Mike Hollingshead of Nebraska... and he's not too happy that they've circled the world under different hurricane names either. Shame on you, whoever you are, for trying to plagiarize such fine work.
For more wonderful pictures of nature at it's finest go to: www.extremeinstability.com
....you will not be disappointed!

Ah HA! I knew they looked like tornados, but those did happen after all the large mag 'canes we had this year...

Goes to show it's always worth the extra mile to go for giving proper credit where it's due, an the author always appreciates it.

Blogger was out so many hours this pm It's after midnight n I just got in for the first time today! Well I did get lotsa online chores done... just hadta wait SOoo long for the fun...

Snaggle- Yeah, I had the same problem with blogger myself, and finally gave up on it. Instead I had myself a nice nights rest so that I could get up at 5 am and start my long day.
Did you have the chance to check out the link? It is fascinating!

They are still beautiful, can't change that fact!

Thanks, Lee Ann. Yeah, they are still beautiful, and I was amazed to see some of his other work... very worthy of framing.

I had my suspicions... as they did look too much like tornado clouds, but Snaggle is right... hurricanes spawn off tornados, so what wasn't there to believe?

Ellen -If you want me to I can bring down the images and leave the post. I still feel like crap about this whole mess. Let me know, it would take me 2 minutes.

Neo- No. I feel that I've absolved the issue with printing the apology. I never said "we" took the pictures... only that they were e-mailed to me. Besides, they are pretty and I would like everyone to know who took them... maybe they'll check out his site and order some for their own. Thank you though, and you should not feel bad. I was dupped (as was my bookkeeper) and that's life! I'll get over it.. no big deal!

xoxoxo for suggesting though!

Check out Saurkrauts blog... mighty steamy political "goings on" over there.
