Happy Independence Day to you too!

I thought I'd left a comment here yesterday, guess it didn't "take"...
Slept through most of my 4th day, then went down the hill to see BBM n Baby J for dinner. Decided not to drive or try any errands for the day. Now it's almost 2 am, wide awake, n all those other people are snoozin, so I'm tryin not to awaken them, even tho I'd like to blast those electric strings- Oh well! (I can't be mean)

Hope ya got some good family time in, n didn't cater anything today!

Thanks, sweetie! I think the first picture is of the Boston Esplanade firework display. The Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra plays while the fireworks dance in the sky. It is beautiful!

I enjoyed by "treasure-hunting" during the day, and too pooped to go out to see the big displays, I watched from my window as the neighbors had their own fireworks. I have to admit, they were pretty good!

Thanks sweetie! I was glad to read that your Canadian Weekend festivities were fun. Almost too bad we couldn't let these holidays last longer, eh?

I actually did not attend any formal fireworks... just the neighbors shooting off the "works"
behind my gardens. After they were finished, it rained (finally) and it was a great end to a hot day!

So glad you were able to visit with BBM and Baby J... isn't it nice to spend holidays with family?

Very nice of you to be so quiet for the loud neighbors... they deserve less, but you are too good with your karma.

Chris had to work all day, but hubby and I went treasure hunting for stuff to go into the gardens. We found a few pots at the local Goodwill (real cheap), and a discarded park bench. In essence, we worked on the yard and gardens most of the time. They really look good now!

A Happy belated 4th to you too! I'll bet the fireworks in Tampa were beautiful.... do they shoot them off over the beach?

Ellen;

Happy belated "4th." I just returned home from Boston where I've been working steadily since Tuesday. It's now Thursday evening and I am overdue for a good night sleep wanted to share with you the spectacular fireworks event we had over The Charles River. i was fortunate enough to get the ship anchored on the edge of the security line in front of the fireworks barge. The 500,000 people on shore had a good show but nothing compared to what we had on the water. The event lasted 45 minutes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I wish you could have been there. But I hope your 4th was fun as well.

Love Karl
