just what the doctor ordered......
After that nice garden you planted for Earth Day.... nothing seems better than a well deserved massage for your efforts. No garden, you say.... no problem. If you make a concerted effort to be kinder to the earth, you still deserve the massage. Have a wonderful weekend!

Awwww, that is adorable! It is a great idea too. I think a massage sounds pretty good right now.
Have a great weekend. Stay safe from the storms!
Yay! a massage, I could use one of those. :)

Yup, a massage is good anytime, huh? I guess you've been experiencing the same weather pattern we're having, as they all seem to come through the AL area before they get to us. A little frightening at night, but it does make for good sleeping weather when the thunder stops, and rain continues. And, yay for the crops!

Couldn't we all? We have day spas around here that charge up to $600.00 a visit.... but then it's an all day affair, and they massage you right down to your toes. I little pricey for me, but that's Atlanta.... you can find that the city is loaded with many people in many different service areas... and many pampered people who take advantage of it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well! Has spring sprung yet over there?
I could use a massage also, but I have a garden to tend to.
How does over 250-300 roses, assorted hanging plants and 42 trees in various stages of becoming bonsai sound for a garden?
Ahhh massage. At one time I thought of it as a treat, now it's a necessity!
mmmmm Massage ... a little lower, ... to the left a little, Ah RIGHT THERE! (sigh)
Ellen, thanks for massaging my brain today! I'll have to find some one local to help with the cheap back-rub I need, tho- !
Just caught up on the Secret Garden's week...
Cute pic! I know my kitties love massages, especially cause they're shedding for spring... they have brushes daily.
Neal, that sounds like an impressive garden!
I'm still waiting for my deck garden to sprout, except for the baby evergreens (a cross between White-Fir n Blue-Spruce, whose parents are in barrels out there).
Still too cold to plant here yet...
aHA, that's my picture! I always knew we had great taste! Have a nice weekend. xoxo's. skye.

Snaggle is right.... that is an impressive garden! Are you going to post any pictures of it on your blog, because I know we'd all like to see it! I'm a lover of flowers (can you tell?) and don't pass any opportunity to stop and smell them no matter where I'm at. People think I'm nuts when I go into a grocery store and drop by the flowers just to smell them.
Your gardens sound like a full time job... but then what garden isn't?
Best of luck with yours!

Trust me, the older you get, the more you'll realize the back just doesn't hold up as well as it once used to. I had to work a 12 hour day yesterday, and felt my back and legs went numb somewhere past the the 9th hour. It's taken me all morning for my feet to un-numb themselves... and I still have a lot of clean-up from the catering as well as yard work to do. It's time to call some troops in to help.

Is the weather still cold up there?
We've been having some 80 degree days, but it still cools down at night into the 50's or so. I love the fact that I can open up the windows and let it air out everything.... however it does leave a lot of pollen in its path.
I'll bet you can't wait to get the flowers in though!

Kitty giving kitty a massage... how cute is that, huh? Glad you liked the picture!

x's and o's to you all! May everyine get those much needed massages this weekend!
I finally got everything presentable yesterday. All that rain we got did miracles for allowing free growth of grass and weeds. I had to cut the yard 3 times, starting the lawn mower at it's highest setting and each time lowering it a bit more. Whew! Took all day just to cut the grass.
Now we have to go in to the flower beds and dig up all the stray weeds and assorted other things that always seem to find their way into our soil. I have pots full of things that have sprouted there. I have maples, oaks, and even a couple palms that I have no clue as to how they got there.
I will post a few pics once the roses fully bloom. Around Mothers Day usually...
Ah Mother's Day usually gives me Tulips under the Ash tree... if anything goes normal this year, that is-
The weather's been in the 30's n 40's this week-end, so put off all the gardening...
80 degrees there? - sounds like vacation ...
I'll need to get a new hose to wash the pollen off the truck to drive it pretty soon.
I'll be using a hand-mower n small-sickle for the tall stuff...

Yay for the rain here too... everything is either full green with new shoots, or blooming. We had quite a few thunder/rain storms pass through, giving everything a good soaking... three days in a row.
After catering all day Saturday, I finally got to the yard and planting Sunday. (I'm bushed.... no pun intended.) Seems like I could only get to about half of it, and have much more to do still. Tis the season, huh?
I can't wait to see the pictures of your roses!

Cool! Tulips for Mothers Day... how nice of your yard to bloom for you on such a special day!
My rose bushes have had a stellar year for the 2006 crop. I only have two bushes, but they went into bloom, and still have a few buds left. With all this burst of color, we are having our share of yellowish/ green windowsills and the vehicles don't take it well.
I finally drove through a quickie car wash so I could see out the windshield.
I could go for a massage! Happy belated Earth Day! :)

A massage is granted... and I'm sure you probably worked a long hard weekend, that you will need one!
